Hatoful Boyfriend: Bird Romance Simulator’s PlayStation Debut

Xbox Games and Controller

The bird loving game from your PC, Hatoful Boyfriend, will now be available as a cross-buy package for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita come July 21.  Now you can buy one game and either play at home or on the go, according to Gamezone.

Mao Hato developed this visual novel that originated in Flash and has been revamped by publisher Devolver Digital.  Hato’s Japanese last name roughly means pigeon in English.

In this bird loving game, you are a human girl who must navigate around a school where everyone else is a sexy bird ranging from doves to quails. But just like real life, this game is not only about romance.  You also have to endure rivalries, stalkers and other life altering dilemmas.

If you have played the PC version, don’t worry; there is lots of new content for you.  The PlayStation version of the game also has a new bird – Tohri, a golden pheasant.

According to Tech Times, Nigel Lowrie from Devolver Digital took to the Sony PlayStation blog to announce the release of the game.  “This new content means there is a whole new story path for longtime fans and new players to the series as well as a brand new ending.”

And if the release of this game is not enough for you, the sequel – Hatoful Boyfriend: Holiday Star, will be available later this year on PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, PCs and Macs.
