Kelley Blue Book has released its rankings for the 10 best cars coming out in 2016 based on their projected resale values.

CBS News notes that while Subaru was the top mainstream brand in the recent KBB rankings, General Motors held four of the top 10 spots for individual models.

At the top of the list is the 2016 Toyota Tacoma – a pickup truck estimated to retain 62 percent of its original value after five years.

The average vehicle only retains 35 percent of its original sale price.

Tacomas come standard with four-cylinder engines but have the option of being upgraded to a V-6. The four-cylinder variant is EPA rated for 19 MPG in the city and 23 MPH on the highway, whereas the V-6 offers 19 in the city and 24 on the highway.

Next on the list, at the number two spot, is the Toyota 4Runner.

The 4Runner is a midsize SUV that comes standard with four-wheel-drive and according to Kelley’s estimates, it’ll still be worth 60 percent of its sticker price after five years.

Kelley ranks the new GMC Canyon the third best with its estimated 59 percent resale value after five years.

The 2016 Chevrolet Colorado comes in at number four on the list with a 58 percent of its value retained after five years.

At number five, the 2016 Jeep Wrangler – an off-road vehicle with holds 55 percent of its original value after five years.

Toyota pops up yet again on the top 10 list in the number six position with their 2016 Tundra, a full-size pickup that Kelley estimates to retain 54 percent of its original purchase price after five years.

The 2016 Subaru WRX, a sporty all-wheel drive car with a turbocharged four-cylinder engine, comes in at number seven as it holds 51 percent of its sticker price after five years.

Chevy’s 2016 Camaro, which has been redesigned for a sleeker appearance, grabs the number eight spot with a 49 percent resale value after five years.

At number nine, the 2016 GMC Sierra with its 24 MPG highway V-6 and optional 5.3 liter V-8. After five years, this full-sized pickup still holds 48 percent of its value, according to KBB.
