Duchess Kate Middleton Is Due For Second Baby In April

Ultrasound

Duchess Kate Middleton and Prince William are expecting their second child due in April of 2015. According to a report by the BBC which was reported on Oct. 20, the Duchess is experiencing severe morning sickness but seems to be improving which was a relief since extreme morning sickness, according to the report, can lead to vomiting which could then lead to dehydration. However, her condition is improving.

Apparently, since the announcement of her second pregnancy, the Duchess has not been in the public since September, however, she is scheduled to make her first appearance on Tuesday. She will be joining her husband, Prince William to welcome the president of Singapore, Tony Tan, as he starts his four-day visit to the United Kingdom.

Kate will also be attending the award ceremony of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2014 at the Natural History Museum in London.

The Royal couple’s second child will now be fourth in line for the Throne, following behind his big brother, Prince George who was born in July of last year.

This is the second time the Duchess has experienced severe morning sickness which is scientifically known as Hyperemesis Gravadarum. Because of such extreme morning sickness again, she might need extra hydration, nutrients, and medication.

This type of morning sickness actually affects 3.5 out of every 1,000 pregnancies and can not only lead to vomiting and dehydration but also weight loss and toxins in the urine and blood which is called Ketosis.

Although there were worries that her morning sickness would become worse, it is of great relief to everyone that she is starting to feel better.

Congratulations to the happy family and here is hoping her pregnancy is a healthy and a happy one.
