Model Kristy Garett Named As Last Nude Playboy Playmate

Kristy Garett is slated to be the last nude Playmate for the iconic Playboy magazine, according to a statement made to People Magazine. The February 2016 issue will contain the 749th, and last, nude centerfold for the magazine. “Playboy has a classic American story, and I want to be a part of it,” Garett writes. “The lifestyle here, where you’re free to express yourself, is my type of life. I am proud of the woman I am and have always dreamed of being talked about because of that.”

In October 2015, Playboy announced that there will no longer be nude photos of women, according to Philly.com. Playboy CEO Scott Flanders clarified that the Internet was a primary reason for this change. “The battle has been fought and won,” he told The New York Times. “You’re now one click away from every sex act imaginable for free. And so it’s just passe at this juncture.”

Despite her All-American name, Kristy Garett was born in Tbilisi, Georgia, a country that borders the Black Sea, Russia, Turkey, and Armenia. The 25 year old and future Miss February 2016 is fluent in six different languages. She has also graced the cover of Grazia France, and has appeared in GQ Italy, and Cosmopolitan Italy.

Actress and Playboy veteran Pamela Anderson will be gracing the cover of the February 2016 issue and will also have a nude spread, according to People. Anderson admitted that she never expected to model for the magazine again. “I got a call from [Hugh Hefner’s] attorney who said, ‘We don’t want anybody else. There’s nobody else, could you do the last cover of Playboy?'” she said. “I had a rough few years where I felt a little insecure, ’cause you know everyone’s getting older.”

Beginning with the March 2016 issue, the 62-year-old magazine will be redesigned, featuring a “top-to-bottom” overhaul with “sexy, seductive pictorials” rather than the full Monty.
