After the release of Beyonce’s surprise album Lemonade, it seemed all the internet could talk about was Jay Z’s alleged infidelity, and the lyrics that seemed to point to it (‘Becky with the good hair’).

A few days after Lemonade’s release, Beyonce has kicked off her Formation World Tour. And now the internet is talking about the outfits she wore on stage, that are as fierce as her new music. If you’re going to see Beyonce live during this tour, you’ll probably see her in lace, leather, crystals and ruffles. The looks can be connected directly to the mood of Lemonade – and they exude nostalgia for Victorian Louisiana, tribal Africa; and are most importantly as stylish and powerful as her songs.

E News broke down every single outfit Beyonce wore from Balmain to DSquared2 , and here’s a quick recap. She seems to have incorporated her fail safe bodysuits into her looks. And some of the looks were reminiscent of her Super Bowl outfit (check it out here on Hollywood Life) where she wore a black bodysuit and a Michael Jackson style military jacket designed by DSquared2. One of the looks on herFormation Tour is very similar – a military inspired bodysuit with gold details. DSQUARED2 designers, Dean and Dan Caten also designed the first look of the tour, a glittery mesh bodysuit paired with a black ruffled top.

Beyonce wore a bright red latex bodysuit (with ruffles), and an embroidered white bodysuit designed by Balmain. Staying true to the French fashion giant’s style, the bodysuit was covered with pearls (and ruffles). Boots were a regular fixture in the star’s stage clothes, and she paired each outfit with  matching boots – red latex boots, black leather boots with ruffles and blue suede boots for her Balmain look.

According to a report in the Guardian, Beyonce mentioned Jay Z during her concert, when she dedicated her song Halo to him, calling him her ‘beautiful husband’.

I want to dedicate this song to my family. I want to dedicate this song to my beautiful husband, I love you so so much.

The concert was attended by Jay Z, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and Michelle Williams, who were all in the front row supporting her. It looks like the fight with Jay Z is now history, the only remains being some badass music and fashion.
