The Reality TV universe was thrown for a loop this past week when America’s favorite (or just can’t stop watching) hillbilly train wreck that is “Here Comes Honey Boo-Boo” was cancelled amid allegations that (Mama) June Shannon is seeing a convicted child molester. The same child molester that June’s oldest daughter Anna says molested her when she was 8-years old.
Shannon has since denied allegations that she is involved in any way with Mark McDaniel but multiple images have surfaced on TMZ refuting her claims. Since the shows cancellation, family members have taken to social media to vent and get the word out on who’s at fault on the whole sordid mess according to WBSTV.
Mike Thompson, Alana’s (Honey Boo-Boo) father is contemplating legal action to gain custody of his 9-year-old daughter, fearing for her safety. When asked if he was upset that Alana has been exposed to a registered sex-offender and he replied “a little bit”
Lee “Uncle Poodle” Thompson, Mike Thompson’s (Sugar Bear) brother Alana’s uncle posted several angry and now-deleted messages for Shannon on his Facebook page and he didn’t mince words, accusing Shannon of not only cheating but also allowing alleged new beau around her children, possibly putting them in danger.

“ You may try to bash me or dig up old dirt but honestly none of it compares to how you have treated my brother and allowed a convicted child molester who molested your oldest daughter to be around your 14 and 9-year-olds.”
“Then you tell me if I step foot on your property you’d call the police on me for trespassing after I told my brother EVERYTHING with photographic evidence…It’s not anyone else but you who (******) up, then lied and had your 14-year-old lie as well And now you can’t get out of that hole you dug, so don’t blame me for YOUR problems.”
Shannon’s 14-year-old daughter Lauryn (viewers know her as Pumpkin) took to Instagram to defend her mom claiming that the accusations against Shannon are false. Both Lauryn and Shannon both claim that Thompson is feeding these stories and images to TMZ because of the show’s cancellation.

Regardless of where the images are coming from or whether Shannon and McDaniel are in a romantic relationship, the fact remains that he is a convicted child molester and he has been photographed with Shannon and Alana. While the authorities say they can’t do anything at this time because they legally “haven’t done anything wrong” — the authorities are aware of McDaniel and the situation.
