Black Lab Rides Bus Solo To Dog Park

A black lab dog gets a little impatient with her owner while sitting at the bus stop. According to a report by Fox News on Jan. 14, Eclipse, the black lab hates sitting there waiting on her owner to finish his cigarette. So what does she do? Eclipse hops on the next bus by herself, sits next to strangers and hops off when the bus gets to the dog park. Why is she doing this? Because she wants to play with her other doggie friends. Everyone is amazed by this dog being able to ride on the bus solo to go to the dog park. Everyone loves her also, she makes them happy!

According to the Herald Extra, Eclipse’s owner does catch up with her three or four bus stops later. He meets up with her and watches her play with the other dogs. However, when the two are apart because she is a little impatient when he won’t take her to the dog park right away, her owner; Jeff Young sometimes gets phone calls from the bus drivers to let him know that they have his dog. Young states:

No she’s fine. She knows what she is doing.

He also had this to say about his dog’s actions:

She’s been here the last two years, so she’s been urbanized, totally. She’s a bus-riding, sidewalk-walking dog.

Bus rider Tiona Rainwater had this to say about what Eclipse does:

All the bus drivers know her. She sits here just like a person does. She makes everybody happy. How could you not love this thing?

Although everyone thinks what Eclipse does is cute, some people joke around and say that she doesn’t need a leash but she should put her owner on one.

Young and Eclipse live near a bus stop so hopping on a bus to ride down to the dog park in Seattle is easy for her to do, even on her own.
