Prince Andrew Publicly Denies Raping Virginia Roberts

Prince Andrew, Queen Elizabeth II’s second son, publicly denied any sexual misconduct with a US woman, Virginia Roberts.

Roberts has claimed in documents she filed in a Florida court that financier Jeffrey Epstein forced her to have sex with the Duke of York when she was just 17-years-old. She claims the sexual misconduct occurred between 1999 and 2002.

This marks the Duke of York’s first public appearance since the allegations of sexual misconduct surfaced.

Andrew, 54, was married to Sarah, the Duchess of York, from 1986 until their divorce in 1996. His parents are Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh.

Earlier in the month, Buckingham Palace “emphatically denied” that the prince had sexual contact with the woman who claimed she was forced to have sex with him while she was a minor, BBC reported.

Virginia has also claimed to have been forced to have sex with, while a minor, a prominent lawyer and former professor at the reputable Harvard Law, Alan Dershowitz.

Alan told BBC Radio 4’s Today show that she lied about him so “she should not be believed about anyone else.”

My only feeling is if she’s lied about me, which I know to an absolute certainty she has, she should not be believed about anyone else. We know she’s lied about other public figures including a former prime minister and others who she claims to have participated in sexual activities with, so I think it must be presumed all her allegations against Prince Andrew were false as well.

Lawyers representing Roberts have requested that the prince testify under oath about in regards to her claims, The Telegraph reported.

Who do you think is lying, Virginia Roberts or Prince Andrews?
